Vortex PUREflo Filters – Longer Service Intervals Means Less Cost
Our expert fitting service is designed to cause minimal downtime and inconvenience for you- our customer.
Most of the popular vehicles will be fitted with ready-to-fit filters, but there will be occasions where a bespoke application will be required. Vortex carries in stock the various filters required and is able to adapt and fabricate fitting kits for the unusual vehicles.
The existing muffler unit will be replaced by the filter unit; we then fit the monitoring system and fix the indicator LED on the dashboard or an ECU which informs the driver about the conditions of the filter system.
After the filter has been fitted, Vortex (a VOSA approved testing station) will carry out the emission test and issue a certificate of conformity ready for your DVLA registration.
SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE
Ongoing servicing costs are lower than the competition. In the majority of cases the unique and patented coating technology means that accumulated soot is automatically combusted during the normal driving cycle. Only for vehicles working under extreme conditions will we recommend the additional option of a fuel injection system to assist with the “light off ” temperature required to burn the soot.
Example - Camper vehicle with an average mileage of 5000 miles per year will only need to get the filter serviced after 5 to 10 years.
